Sensors Council Chapter Seeks New Chair

IEEE Sensors Council UK and Ireland Chapter was founded in 2015 to focus IEEE’s widely scattered sensor activities, via lectures, webinars, journals and yearly conferences.

The Chapter is responsible for coordinating IEEE Sensors Council activities for much of Region 8. This region has a diverse technical and scientific community in the sensors areas in both academia and industry. It is relevant to thousands of engineering professional working in the area sensors in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland region. This includes researchers, engineers, professionals, employers, and students, with the trusted information, networking, and career-development source for a regional community of technology leaders.

The IEEE UK and Ireland Sensors Council Chapter is looking for a new Chair to further develop its activities. To apply for this position, please indicate your interest by sending CV to Ravinder Dahiya and Sinead O’Keefe.

The closing date is 31st July 2018 and successful applicant will be notified by 15th August, starting the role 1st November 2018.
