Hybrid Distinguished Lecture | Many Names, Many Advantages – From Trentini to Beam Steering of Modern (Fabry-Perot) Resonant Cavity Antennas

Queen Mary University of London Room 205, Graduate Centre, Mile End Road, London

This presentation will take the audience through historical achievements of resonant cavity antenna technology, giving emphasis to breakthroughs in the last 20 years up to a recent method of steering its beam continuously in 2D (i.e., azimuth and elevation).

IEEE PELS Hybrid Distinguished Lecture | Single-phase Inverter Control Techniques for Interfacing Renewable Energy Sources with Micro-grid

University of Cambridge Downing College, Regent Street, Cambridge

In this presentation, a novel current control technique is proposed to control both active and reactive power flow from a renewable energy source feeding a micro-grid system through a single-phase parallel connected inverter. The parallel connected inverter ensures active and reactive power flow from the grid with low current THD even in the presence of non-linear load.

EMC Chapter Virtual AGM

The Annual general Meeting of the United Kingdom and Ireland Chapter of the IEEE EMC Society will take place on Monday 6th June starting at 5pm.

IEEE PELS Hybrid Distinguished Lecture | Single-phase Inverter Control Techniques for Interfacing Renewable Energy Sources with Micro-grid

University of Oxford Lecture room 7, Ground floor, Information Engineering Building (IEB), Parks Road, Oxford

HILRES’22 Summer School | Hardware in the Loop for Renewable Systems with SoC Platforms

Royal Holloway Beatrice Shilling Building, University of London, Egham, Surrey

HILRES’22 - technically sponsored by ESoC Technical Committee of IEEE Industrial Electronics Society - is a three-day design from scratch experience for students and professionals, for bare-metal SoPC based Hardware in the Loop platforms.
