Webinar | Blockchain: Open Source Business Models by Dr Trevor Clohessy, GMIT School of Business, Galway

As an introduction to open source and business models in the context of Blockchain Technologies, this webinar is designed to discuss the factors that have made open source and business models essential and important in today’s interconnected digital world.

This webinar will highlight how business value can be derived from open source Blockchain technologies. While open source software has become the de-facto business model for technology, there is a scarcity of empirical evidence, apart from Bitcoin and Ethereum, to suggest how open source can be used by organisations to leverage business model value from Blockchain.

The webinar will present an overview of a bespoke Blockchain business model strategyzer grid that can be used to create robust open source Blockchain business models.
