Professional Development Networking Workshop 2017

The workshop aims to provide attendees with tools to enable better self-assessment of personality traits, gaps in desired competences and potential ways of abridging deficiencies whilst maximising proven strengths. This will be delivered through formal presentations in the first segment of the event. Some interaction is expected in order to consolidate the concepts.

Additionally, the workshop aims to practice aspects of coaching delivered in the formal presentations at a networking evening. It is proposed to involve members of the Manchester Alumni Association, the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), the IEEE PES UK&I Chapter, IEEE UK&I Chapter and other key members of the business community in Manchester.

The workshop is a joint event held with IEEE Young Professionals, the University of Manchester, and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
