In this webinar we discuss two critical goals of intellectual property management: While protecting the technology, 1) inventors need to find licencees, and 2) commercial entities need to find technology or patents to buy or licence. When mutual interest is affirmed, potential licencees can quickly draft a licence showing the parties’ names, license type, fixed fees and royalties and associated escalators as well as industrial and geographical inclusions and exclusions. In cases where innovations are combined, a licence can also describe the manner of rights sharing.
When an innovation is recorded onto the blockchain, irrefutable evidence exists of the time and date the idea was conceived. In the blockchain-based, cryptographically hashed record, Ideation keeps a record of all innovations, NDAs and licences in the blockchain, without compromising the technology.
