This lecture is part of the Future Energy Technology Seminar. This seminar will cover a range of topics concerning future energy technology. The seminar will include talks on motor drives for automotive applications, nuclear power, power electronics for wind power, power electronics and control for renewable energy systems and machines for renewable applications. There will also be a tutorial on gird inverters and a workshop on MMC for HVDC transmission systems. We are honoured to invite 3 Distinguished Lecturers and 2 experts about HVDC from University of Strathclyde.
