A question of identity: Biometrics and Beyond by Prof Michael Fairhurst
Biometrics-based identification using fingerprints, iris or facial images is now established in many applications.However, handwriting (especially the signature) has long been considered a viable source of identification but is handwriting becoming redundant in the modern age? The talk will explore the variety of biometric modalities currently available, and will consider particularly the future potential for handwritten data.
