Welcome to the IEEE UK and Ireland Electron Devices (Scotland) Chapter.

The Scottish Chapter of the IEEE Electron Devices Society was founded in June 2012 and has a membership of approximately 40 members.   These members represent the Scottish based microelectronic design, and technology communities including colleagues working in relevant end-user applications.   In addition to standard devices and integrated circuits these applications include sensor and MEMS/microsystems and as well as more than Moore technology.

The Chapter brings together the strong Scottish academic and industrial sectors in microelectronic design (including fabless companies) and fabrication, with society activities covering social and technical networking as well as outreach.
