IEEE UK and Ireland Blockchain Group is a newly formed Group; the first Group in Region 8. It now has over 120 members. Applications are invited from suitably experienced and qualified UK & Ireland Blockchain members for the role of a UK & I Blockchain Group Secretary.

Following an eNotice circulated to the Section last week, the Blockchain Group already has over 100 members; that's quite astonishing. The vision of the Blockchain Group is to become the most vibrant and active chapter in our Section dedicated to serving and providing member value. Membership to the UK&I Blockchain Group is, and will remain, free.

The newly formed Blockchain Group is here to serve members in creating a forum for professional networking, learning, and growing of the rapidly emerging Blockchain field and to organise events covering the start-of-the-art in Blockchain technology and applications.
