The inaugural United Kingdom and Ireland Section Volunteer Recognition Awards were presented at the 2021 AGM in recognition of members who volunteered their time and made a significant contribution to the success of the section activities and mainly to the three top priorities set for 2020-2021.
The use of location data and contact tracing apps in response to COVID19 has raised questions around societal values and trade-offs. This presentation considers how the pandemic is impacting human rights, with a focus on the rights to privacy and data protection.
