Circuits and Systems Chapter

Welcome to the IEEE UK and Ireland Circuits and Systems Chapter.

The Circuits and Systems (CAS) Chapter is one of the oldest in in the Section with a tradition in pursuing and introducing the latest developments in the field to its membership. As the Chapter name suggests it span a wide range of activities and crosses over the disciplines from the low-level circuits related subjects and technologies to how it all fits together at the system level, including algorithms and complete system-level aspects.

This Chapter is aimed at researchers, practitioners and academics working the field of CAS, be it at the low-level integrated circuit aspects to higher levels of systems and their integration both on silicon, and discrete component level as well as software implementations and algorithmic level innovations.

We have a range of activities throughout the year from regular interest group based lectures, to Distinguished Lecturers and workshops to expose new and upcoming areas in CAS.  We also have joint seminars with other Chapters whose disciplines are close to CAS.
